Pinedale Computer Terms and Conditions
At Pinedale Computer, our goal is to provide you the best solutions & care while providing for our families.
Privacy:
- We don’t keep data unless you explicitly give permission.
- We don’t give your data to anyone.
- We may comply with subpenas, warrants, or other legally required requests.
- We don’t tell people what we see.
- If we happen to observe obviously immoral & illegal activity, we will contact law enforcement.
Warranty:
- We warranty our labor. On the extremely rare occasion that we do something incorrectly, we will make it right.
- We do not warranty used or new parts; we are not a manufacturer, nor can we predict hardware failure.
- Many of our products come with manufacturers warranty.
- We sell only products that meet our personal standards and are produced/sold by companies we trust.
- We fully check all used & custom-built computers that we sell.
- We may help you with warranty claims. (We cannot force vendors/manufacturers to be honorable.)
Diagnostic:
- “Checking things out” & “getting advice” employs our expertise. Accordingly, we may charge for Diagnostics or At-Counter Assistance.
- If you pursue solutions through us – such as buying a replacement computer – we waive your diagnostic fee.
- For difficult / time-consuming / obscure troubleshooting we may still charge a labor fee for advanced troubleshooting.
Labor:
- Labor is estimated. Labor charges are based on required time to repair.
- We honor your intent: we will contact you with alternatives if repair costs exceed your expressed budget or the cost of a replacement device from a reputable source.
- Cost of completed labor is not absolved if you decide to halt repairs.
Data Ownership & Account Access:
- By asking for account unlocks or data transfer, you are declaring that you have rightful access to any accounts and / or data in question.
- To protect our neighbors & ourselves, we require ID for unlocks.
- If it isn’t obvious that you are the account owner, we will copy your ID & store it securely.
Payment:
Our invoices are payable within 30 days, unless another payment timeframe is indicated on either the invoice or the order. In the event of non-payment by the due date, Pinedale Computer reserves the right to request a fixed interest payment amounting to 7% of the sum remaining due. Pinedale Computer will be authorized to suspend any provision of services without prior warning in the event of late payment.
If a payment is still outstanding more than sixty (60) days after the due payment date, Pinedale Computer reserves the right to call on the services of a debt recovery company. All legal expenses will be payable by the client.
Certain countries apply withholding at source on the amount of invoices, in accordance with their internal legislation. Any withholding at source will be paid by the client to the tax authorities. Under no circumstances can Pinedale Computer become involved in costs related to a country's legislation. The amount of the invoice will therefore be due to Pinedale Computer in its entirety and does not include any costs relating to the legislation of the country in which the client is located.
Additional Terms:
The client explicitly waives its own standard terms and conditions, even if these were drawn up after these standard terms and conditions of sale. In order to be valid, any derogation must be expressly agreed to in advance in writing.
Pinedale Computer undertakes to do its best to supply performant services in due time in accordance with the agreed timeframes. However, none of its obligations can be considered as being an obligation to achieve results. Pinedale Computer cannot under any circumstances, be required by the client to appear as a third party in the context of any claim for damages filed against the client by an end consumer.
In order for it to be admissible, Pinedale Computer must be notified of any claim by means of a letter sent by recorded delivery to its registered office within 8 days of the delivery of the goods or the provision of the services.
All our contractual relations will be governed exclusively by United States law.
